The MAUI 28 G2 Wis equipped with two 8 ”woofers, sixteen 3” full-range speakers, and two 1 ”neodymium print drivers. They are powered by a lightweight Class D power amplifier with an enormous 2,000-watts peak output and produce powerful bass, balanced mids, and precise, silky highs. The DynXDSP technology from LD Systems ensures top-class performance and maximum freedom from distortion at all times. It includes a multiband limiter that protects against overload, EQ, compressor, and a 3-way crossover with delay correction.
The line array design of the MAUI 28 G2 Wachieves a greater range, increased feedback resistance, and wider room coverage, which makes separate monitor speakers unnecessary. The waveguide of the tweeters was developed using the Border Element Method (BEM), a numerical simulation of sound radiation and propagation. It reduces reflections from floors and ceilings, prevents secondary maxima, and thus achieves a homogeneous radiation behavior - your audience will hear you as clearly in the last row as in the first.
With the integrated 4-channel mixer, system presets for mono or stereo configuration, and Bluetooth audio streaming, you have full control over the system. As a singer-songwriter, solo entertainer, DJ or musician in a small band, you will be amazed by the exceptional sound and the ease of transport of the MAUI 28 G2. The column and subwoofer can be set up separately, making the system extremely flexible to use and also an excellent choice for fixed installations.
