Description

The DiGiCo X-A-168 is a portable 16-input/8-output I/O expander designed to provide additional analogue I/O anywhere on a compatible DiGiCo A3232 network. It features 16 mic/line inputs with recallable preamps and phantom power, along with 8 balanced XLR line outputs. Two A3232 network ports allow units to be daisy-chained or configured for network redundancy.

16-Channel Input Section

The X-A-168 provides 16 balanced XLR mic/line inputs with +48V phantom power, recallable preamps, and +5 to +60 dB analogue gain in 1 dB steps. A -20 dB pad supports higher-level input sources.

8-Channel Output Section

Eight balanced XLR line outputs provide professional signal distribution with a maximum output level of +22 dBu. Relay protection helps safeguard the analogue outputs during operation.

A3232 Network Connectivity

Two proprietary A3232 ports provide CAT5e network connectivity for integrating the X-A-168 into compatible DiGiCo systems. The second port can be used for daisy-chaining another A168 STAGE or creating a redundant network connection.

The X-A-168 provides a compact solution for expanding input and output capacity in professional live sound, touring, theatre, broadcast, and installation applications.
