The Fostex TH810 is a premium closed-back dynamic headphone designed to bring the exceptional musicality and detailed sound character of Fostex’s flagship headphone lineup to a broader audience. Its solid natural acacia wood housing is carefully selected for its acoustic characteristics and distinctive appearance, combining rich, deep bass with clear, resonant highs. Because the housing is made from natural wood, each headphone features its own unique grain, texture, coloration, and knots without affecting sound quality.

 
At the heart of the TH810 is a newly developed 50 mm Biodynamic driver featuring a neodymium magnet and refined diaphragm construction. The newly developed driver edge improves amplitude stability for a tight and well-defined bass response, while unwanted resonance is suppressed to produce a cleaner and more natural midrange. The result is high-resolution reproduction with deep, controlled bass, an open and transparent midrange, and smooth, detailed high frequencies across a wide frequency range.

The TH810 combines its acoustic performance with carefully engineered comfort and mechanical construction. Lightweight magnesium alloy is used for key components such as the housing base plate and hangers, reducing weight compared with conventional aluminum construction, while rubber gaskets help minimize unwanted vibration. Newly designed memory foam ear pads conform comfortably to the listener’s face, while natural sheepskin head pads and headband provide a supple fit for extended listening sessions. The included 7N high-purity OFC cable provides excellent signal transmission, with optional 4.4 mm and XLR balanced cables available for users seeking additional connection flexibility.
