Each speaker uses a high-sensitivity driver capable of producing strong sound levels while requiring minimal amplifier power, making this 4-speaker package a practical solution for distributed audio systems in retail spaces, offices, hospitality venues, commercial facilities, and other ceiling-mounted applications.
Efficient 70V/100V Distributed Audio
Each JBL 8124 features a 6W transformer with multiple 70V/100V taps, including 6W, 3W, 1.5W, and 0.75W at 70V only. With four speakers in the package, installers can create broader and more consistent sound coverage while selecting appropriate power levels for different zones and amplifier requirements. The 93 dB sensitivity and 130° conical coverage provide efficient sound distribution across commercial spaces.
Easy Installation & Clean Ceiling Integration
The 8124 features dog-ear mounting hardware for convenient retrofit and blind-mount installations, while its open-back design eliminates the need for a dedicated backcan in applications where one is not required. Each speaker includes a contemporary sculpted grille and white plastic baffle for a clean ceiling appearance. Optional accessories such as the MTC-8124C C-ring and MTC-RAIL tile rails can also support compatible suspended-ceiling installations.
