The DiGiCo MOD-DMI-OPTO is an Optocore expansion card designed to provide high-capacity optical audio connectivity through HMA connectors. When installed in a compatible DiGiCo Orange Box, the card allows the Orange Box to be added to an Optocore loop and connected with another compatible DMI card. It supports up to 128 channels of I/O at 48 kHz or up to 64 channels at 96 kHz. The card provides a flexible solution for expanding digital audio networks in professional live sound environments. It is also compatible with the DiGiCo 4REA4 system.
Optocore Connectivity
The MOD-DMI-OPTO enables Optocore audio networking through HMA optical connections. It allows compatible DiGiCo equipment to communicate over a high-capacity fiber-based audio network.
