The DiGiCo X-D2-DI-C is a professional 9U D2-Rack configured with 24 analogue microphone inputs, 24 AES/EBU digital inputs, and 16 analogue outputs. It uses dual RJ45 Cat5e MADI connections for digital audio transport, rack sharing, and recording splits. The rack is designed for professional live sound, touring, broadcast, and installation applications.
Flexible Input Configuration
The X-D2-DI-C combines 24 analogue microphone inputs with 24 AES/EBU inputs, providing a flexible interface for systems requiring both analogue and digital sources. The rack maintains 48 total input channels while allowing engineers to connect microphones, digital consoles, processors, and other AES-equipped equipment.
RJ45 MADI Connectivity
Two DiGiCo Cat5e MADI connections provide the primary digital connection between the D2-Rack and compatible DiGiCo equipment. At 48 kHz, the connections can be used for rack sharing or digital splits, while both connections combine for 96 kHz operation without reducing the available I/O.
High-Resolution Audio
The D2-Rack supports 44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4, and 192 kHz sample rates. It provides a 113 dB dynamic range, 127 dB analogue EIN, and maximum input and output levels of +22 dBu. System delay is approximately 2 ms at 48 kHz and 1.1 ms at 96 kHz.
Output Expansion
Sixteen analogue line outputs are included as standard, while two additional output expansion slots can increase the rack's output capacity to 32 channels. Compatible expansion options include line output, AES output, and Aviom modules.
Reliable Professional Operation
The X-D2-DI-C includes dual redundant internal power supplies for dependable operation in demanding production environments. Gain Tracking™, an internal oscillator, LCD menu controls, and locked controls provide additional tools for configuration and system management.
