The JBL Control 442C/T 2-Pack delivers clear, wide-coverage audio through two compact ceiling loudspeakers from the flagship Control 400 Premium Coverage Series. Each speaker features a 63.5 mm (2.5-inch) full-range driver and integrated enclosure designed for installation in most ceiling plenum spaces. With a 130 Hz–20 kHz frequency range, 86 dB sensitivity, and 160° conical coverage, the pair provides broad and consistent sound distribution for commercial environments.
Flexible 70V/100V & 16Ω Operation
Each Control 442C/T supports both 70V/100V distributed audio and direct 16Ω low-impedance operation. The built-in transformer provides 70V taps of 12W, 6W, and 3W, while 100V operation supports 12W and 6W. Each speaker handles 22.5W continuous pink-noise power for 2 hours and up to 90W peak, with a 60W peak rating under the 100-hour continuous pink-noise specification. The compact design also makes the Control 442C/T an ideal complement to the JBL 440CS/T subwoofer.
Efficient Installation & Modern Architectural Design
The integrated enclosure and adaptable captive dogear mounting system simplify installation across a wide range of ceiling thicknesses. Terminal covers provide convenient top and side cable entry and use captive hand-screws for efficient access, while the full-face magnetic grille offers a clean, paintable finish with an integrated safety tether. The 2-pack includes mounting hardware and is well suited for commercial spaces, hotels, museums, background music, and other installed audio applications.
