What counts as a deal at Hollywood DJ?
Four different things, and they are not interchangeable. Everything on this page is discounted, but the reason it is discounted changes what you are buying.

What is the difference between clearance and open box?
Condition. Clearance items are brand new and factory sealed, and they are discounted because the model is discontinued or overstocked, not because anything happened to the box. Open box items have been opened. They work fully, but the packaging has been broken and the unit may show light handling. If you want new-in-box at a lower price, shop clearance. If you will trade a scuff for a bigger discount, shop open box.
What is the difference between open box and B-Stock?
Degree of cosmetic wear. Open box gear is essentially like new, just no longer sealed. B-Stock, in our own listing language, may carry a small ding or dent. Both are fully functional. Every condition unit is a single item, so when it sells it is gone, and the exact condition is described on the individual product page.
Can I use a discount code on a deal item?
Not on open box. Our open box listings state that no further discounts are available on open box items. For sale, clearance and B-Stock items, call 1-800-700-4542 or use live chat before you order and we will tell you what applies to the specific item, rather than have a code fail at checkout.
Can I return a discounted item?
Yes. Our standard 30 day satisfaction guarantee applies. You can start a return online from your account within 14 days of delivery, and between 14 and 30 days we can arrange it by phone at 1-800-700-4542. Returns need an RMA number, and the item must come back in like-new condition with all original packaging and accessories. Full terms are on our refund policy page.
How long do these prices last?
Sale prices run for a limited time, and manufacturer promotions have fixed start and end dates. Clearance and condition items last until the units are gone, and discontinued models are not coming back. There is no restock behind a clearance or open box listing, so quantity is the real deadline rather than the calendar.
Do deal items ship the same day?
Yes, if the item is in stock and the order is placed by noon PST. We ship those units from our own warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, which is why in-stock condition items move quickly.
Can I see a deal item before I buy it?
