The Gator Percussion 500 Series GP-HHS-500 Two-Legged Hi-Hat Stand is a medium-weight stand designed for responsive performance, flexible setup options, and dependable stability. Its direct chain drive system delivers fast, smooth pedal response, while the rotating two-leg design allows easy positioning around double bass pedals and compact drum kits. The height adjusts from 27.5" to 39", and the 9.5" footboard provides balanced leverage and control.
Built with durable steel double-braced legs, the GP-HHS-500 features slip-resistant rubber feet, a heavy-duty base plate, and spring-loaded spikes for added stability during aggressive playing. The twist-lock tension adjustment offers four tension levels, allowing drummers to customize the pedal feel. Spring-loaded tube joints with memory locks also make setup quick and consistent.
The quick-release hi-hat clutch allows for fast cymbal changes, while rounded rubber washers help improve cymbal tone and sustain. A bottom hi-hat tilt adjustment helps reduce air lock and improve cymbal articulation for more expressive playing.
