Descripción
The Radial Engineering ProMS2 is a professional passive microphone splitter designed to send a single microphone signal to multiple destinations simultaneously without introducing significant signal degradation or noise. Its Eclipse ET-MS10 transformer provides galvanic isolation on the isolated output, helping eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops while maintaining a wide frequency response and low distortion. The ProMS2 is well suited for live sound, recording, broadcast, theater, and other professional audio applications.
The ProMS2 provides three output paths for flexible signal distribution. Direct-1 Thru connects to the main PA and provides a phantom-power return path to the microphone, while Direct-2 Thru can feed a monitor console or recording system. The transformer-isolated output provides additional noise rejection and can be used for recording or other isolated destinations. A ground lift disconnects pin 1 at the XLR Thru output, while the -30dB input pad allows +4dB line-level devices to be connected.
Built into a rugged 14-gauge steel chassis and outer shell, the ProMS2 is designed for demanding professional use and features a protective book-end design around the jacks and switches. Its passive circuitry requires no external power, while the no-slip pad provides electrical and mechanical isolation and helps keep the unit securely positioned. With a 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response, greater than 140dB dynamic range, 0.001% THD, and +26dBu maximum input level, the ProMS2 provides a high-performance solution for splitting microphone signals on stage, in the studio, or in permanent installations.
