The Audio-Technica ATW-901A/H System 9 VHF Wireless Headworn Microphone System is designed for live performances, presentations, and sound reinforcement applications requiring hands-free microphone operation. The system includes a tabletop wireless receiver, a bodypack transmitter, and a PRO 8HEcW headworn microphone. With analog VHF wireless technology and four selectable transmission frequencies, it offers a practical solution for performers, presenters, and other users who need convenient wireless audio.
Flexible Wireless Operation and Receiver Controls
The receiver features two fixed external dipole antennas and supports four selectable frequencies: 169.505, 170.245, 171.045, and 171.905 MHz. LED indicators provide channel, RF, and AF peak status information, while the adjustable squelch control helps mute audio when the incoming radio signal falls below the selected threshold. Balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch TS outputs provide flexible connectivity with compatible sound systems.
Headworn Microphone and Bodypack Transmitter
The included bodypack transmitter supports microphone and instrument inputs and features variable input trim, channel-selection DIP switches, and a Power/Mute button. It operates on two AA batteries and provides up to eight hours of battery life under specified conditions. The included PRO 8HEcW headworn microphone supports hands-free use, making the system suitable for stage performances, public speaking, and other professional audio applications.
