Description
The Audio-Technica PRO45W is a cardioid condenser hanging microphone designed for discreet, high-quality sound capture in stages, theaters, houses of worship, orchestras, choirs, and other live ensemble applications. Its white finish provides a clean, unobtrusive appearance, while the cardioid polar pattern focuses on sound from the intended area and helps reduce unwanted ambient noise.
Clear Sound & High SPL Handling
With a 70Hz–16kHz frequency response, 66dB signal-to-noise ratio, and 106dB typical dynamic range, the PRO45W delivers detailed and reliable audio reproduction. It can handle maximum input levels up to 134dB SPL at 1kHz and features an open-circuit sensitivity of -37dB, making it suitable for capturing vocals and natural ensemble performances.
Flexible Installation & Connectivity
The PRO45W features an integral power module and requires +9V to +52V phantom power for operation. Its 25-foot cable terminates in an XLRM-type connector for connection to compatible audio equipment, while the compact 15g design allows the microphone to remain discreet when suspended above performers or ensembles.
