Description
The Audio-Technica PRO 8HEx is a lightweight, professional headworn microphone designed for clear, intelligible vocal reproduction while keeping both hands free. Ideal for guitarists, keyboard players, drummers, and other performers, it provides convenient hands-free operation for live performances, presentations, and stage applications. Its low-visibility headband and cushioned support pads help provide a stable, comfortable fit during extended use.
Clear Vocal Pickup and Directional Performance
Featuring a Hi-ENERGY neodymium element and a hypercardioid polar pattern, the PRO 8HEx is designed to capture articulate vocals while improving isolation of the intended sound source. The flexible microphone boom is mounted on a pivot, allowing it to descend from either the left or right side for convenient positioning and adaptable use.
Comfortable Fit and Professional Connectivity
The lightweight headband and cushioned support pads support comfortable wear during active performances. The PRO 8HEx configuration includes a permanently attached 7.2-foot miniature cable terminated with a 3-pin XLRM connector for compatible audio equipment. Other PRO 8HE family configurations are available with connectors designed for specific Audio-Technica wireless body-pack transmitters.
