Description
The Elation PRE949 Proteus Excalibur OPS is a high-output IP66 beam fixture designed to produce an intense, narrow aerial beam from a compact fixture body. Its 0.8° beam angle creates a concentrated column of light suitable for large-scale outdoor productions, concerts, special events, theme parks, cruise ships, and entertainment installations.
A 550W Philips MSD Platinum 500L Flex lamp produces up to 20,000 lumens, while the ultra-wide 260 mm front lens provides an expansive optical output. The integrated 3.5° beam expander allows the beam to be widened when a broader projection is required, while motorized focus maintains crisp projections.
The fixture combines full CMY color mixing with 16 dichroic colors, including CTO and UV, along with eight rotating/indexing glass gobos and 17 static metal gobos. Dual rotating prisms, prism macros, frost filters, and a high-speed mechanical shutter and strobe provide a wide range of aerial and beam effects.
The integrated Sky Motion system allows the Proteus Excalibur OPS to operate as a standalone searchlight or skytracker without requiring a dedicated lighting controller. Multiple fixtures can be interconnected and assigned individual IDs, with movement patterns and parameters adjustable directly through the fixture's display.
