Description

The JBL CSS-H30-BK is a 30W commercial paging horn designed to provide clear, intelligible speech over long distances for announcement and paging applications. Its high-sensitivity 1.5-inch compression driver delivers high sound levels with relatively low amplifier power, making it well suited for public access areas, educational facilities, commercial buildings, recreational spaces, and warehouses.

The horn provides a focused 50° horizontal by 70° vertical coverage pattern to support long-throw applications where narrower dispersion is beneficial. Its integrated 30W multi-tap transformer supports 70V and 100V distributed audio systems, while an 8Ω direct bypass provides additional system flexibility. A built-in 350 Hz high-pass filter helps protect the driver from damaging low-frequency content.

Built for indoor and outdoor installations, the CSS-H30-BK features a weather-resistant ABS enclosure with an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water. The phenolic diaphragm driver provides durability for demanding environments, while the included stainless steel mounting bracket and hardware simplify installation. Its black finish also provides a professional appearance for commercial paging and sound-reinforcement applications.
