The Soundcraft Signature Plus 16 is a professional 16-channel analog mixing console designed for live sound, studio production, streaming, and creative audio workflows. Its purpose-driven layout combines color-coded controls, tactile “squircle” knobs, and smooth faders for fast and confident operation. Soundcraft Ghost mic preamps provide high-quality input amplification with smooth overload behavior and rich harmonics, while Sapphyre EQ delivers musical tone shaping. Built-in dbx OverEasy one-knob compressors provide convenient dynamics control with harmonic enhancement, and TRS insert points allow external processors to be integrated into individual channels.
The Signature Plus 16 features an integrated Lexicon hardware effects processor with Store and Tap Tempo functionality for flexible creative processing. Dedicated footswitch connections provide convenient control over FX Bypass and Tap Tempo during performances. Simple Success Metering (SSM) provides visual feedback across inputs and outputs, while the dedicated Listen bus allows engineers to monitor channels without interrupting the main mix. Talkback To routing provides communication to selected outputs, while four Aux sends and Mix to Auxes support versatile monitoring configurations. User-configurable headphone and control-room monitoring includes Mute, Dim, Mono Sum, and selectable Mix, Aux, Listen, or direct USB sources.
A 4x4 USB-C audio interface supports playback and recording at sample rates from 44.1 kHz through 192 kHz, allowing seamless integration with laptops and mobile devices. USB returns can be routed into channel strips or used to replace the main mix for break music and DJ playback. The rugged console includes rack-mount ears and a front-panel QR code that provides quick access to training videos, manuals, and support resources.
