The Audio-Technica AT831cH is a cardioid condenser lavalier microphone designed to deliver crisp, full-sounding audio for speech, presentations, performances, and instrument recording. Its compact clip-on design also makes it suitable for acoustic guitar applications, providing detailed sound pickup while helping suppress unwanted background noise.

Clear Audio and Focused Pickup

The AT831cH features a cardioid polar pattern and a frequency response of 40 Hz to 16 kHz for natural voice and instrument reproduction. With a maximum input sound level of 141 dB SPL and a dynamic range of 112 dB, it can accommodate a wide range of sound sources. Its low-frequency roll-off switch helps reduce unwanted low-frequency noise, while selectable off, flat, and roll-off settings provide flexible operation.

Convenient Wireless Connectivity

The microphone features a permanently attached 55.1-inch (1.4 m) cable terminated with a screw-down 4-pin cH-style connector for compatible Audio-Technica UniPak wireless bodypack transmitters. It operates using plug-in power and includes a clothing clip and foam windscreen for convenient placement and everyday use. Its lightweight microphone capsule supports discreet wearing in professional audio applications.
