The Blizzard Lighting MFN300-B is a multi-functional control box designed to provide auxiliary control and monitoring functions for LED display systems. It supports RS232 serial communication and Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, allowing flexible communication with compatible display equipment. The MFN300-B can also provide Ethernet connections between two receiving cards or at the end of a receiving-card system, making it a practical addition to professional LED display installations.
The MFN300-B combines several monitoring and control functions in a compact enclosure. It supports temperature and humidity detection for power distribution boxes, as well as connection to a temperature and humidity module. Four light sensor connections enable automatic brightness adjustment based on ambient lighting conditions. An integrated timer function can replace separate timer and delayer equipment, while eight-way power switch control provides convenient management of connected power circuits.
The unit operates from a DC 4.5V to 5.5V power supply with a rated current of 0.38A. Its DMX signal/data connections use 3-pin XLR connectors with double shielding, 120-ohm impedance, and low-capacitance construction. The supplied power connection uses a 14AWG, three-conductor power cord with a maximum current rating of 15A and UL-recognized components. With its communication, monitoring, sensor, timer, and power-control functions, the MFN300-B provides a versatile solution for professional LED display and control applications.
