The DiGiCo X-WAVES-WRC-1 External Waves WRC-1 Wi-Fi Stage Router is a professional Wi-Fi stage router designed for live sound, AV, and mobile production applications. It provides simultaneous 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless operation for reliable connectivity between digital mixing systems and mobile control devices. The router features True Diversity technology and four detachable antennas for improved wireless performance. Its rugged metal chassis occupies just 1 RU of rack space for convenient integration into professional equipment racks. The WRC-1 also works seamlessly with Waves MyMon for personal monitor mixing from compatible mobile devices.
Designed specifically for demanding professional environments, the WRC-1 V2 features one Neutrik etherCON GbE WAN port, one Neutrik etherCON GbE LAN port, and two additional RJ45 GbE LAN ports. The lockable Neutrik connections help keep critical network cables securely connected during performances. An integrated five-port USB hub provides convenient connectivity and fast charging for mobile devices and other USB equipment. The internal universal power supply eliminates the need for an external wall adapter, making the router well suited for rack and road-case installations.
The X-WAVES-WRC-1 also includes an integrated DLNA player with two balanced XLR outputs for convenient wireless audio playback. Its simultaneous dual-band architecture allows separate 2.4 and 5 GHz networks with individually configurable names and passwords. Advanced MIMO technology helps improve throughput and wireless range, while DHCP and Static IP support provide flexible network configuration. Browser-based administration allows users to configure the router through a standard web interface for straightforward system management.
