The Elation NFS116 NETRON is a professional 1U rackmount network switch engineered for the demanding data requirements of modern entertainment and lighting systems. Featuring 12 Gigabit locking RJ45 Ethernet ports alongside dedicated fiber connectivity, it provides high-speed distribution for lighting nodes, controllers, consoles, and other network appliances. With a 48 Gbps total switching capacity, the FS16 is optimized to handle high volumes of entertainment data while maintaining fast response and reliable signal delivery.
Flexible Fiber & Network Connectivity
The FS16 includes four D-sized swappable fiber ports preinstalled with SEETRONIC duplex fiber connections. Its front fiber connection supports 10 Gbps multimode operation at 850nm with up to 300m transmission distance, while the rear fiber connections provide 1.25 Gbps multimode operation at 850nm with up to 300m range. The combination of Gigabit Ethernet and fiber connectivity provides flexible infrastructure options for both touring systems and permanent installations.
PoE+ Power & Protocol Support
Designed to distribute both network data and power, the FS16 supports PoE and PoE+, with up to 30W per port and a total PoE power capability of 180W. It supports a wide range of entertainment protocols including sACN, Art-Net, ONYX X-Net, MANet2, MA-Net3, HogNet, ETC Net3, and Dante, along with Broadcast, Unicast, and Multicast networking. Advanced Ethernet features include IGMP Querier, IGMP Snooping, VLAN groups, DHCP Server per VLAN, and Dante-compliant QoS presets.
Instant Network Selection & Remote Configuration
Four dedicated front-panel preset buttons provide fast network selection and preset recall, allowing main and backup consoles or different front-of-house configurations to be activated instantly. Network selections can also be controlled remotely through an optional button station using the RJ45 remote connection or through the integrated web interface. The NETRON Central Utility (CLU) provides additional discovery, status feedback, and feature-management capabilities.
Professional Touring & Installation Design
Built into a powder-coated aluminum 1U rack housing, the FS16 combines durability with efficient convection-cooled operation for quiet, reliable performance. A full-color OLED display, rotary encoder with push-to-select functionality, per-port LED feedback, PoE power switch, and direct feature adjustments provide convenient local control. The unit operates from 100–240V, 50/60Hz and includes an IP65 locking power cable for professional installation and touring environments.
