The Elation Professional PAR148 PARAGON M Fresnel Lens converts the PARAGON M from a sharp profile projection fixture into a dedicated soft wash lighting configuration. The Fresnel optical design creates a defined soft field, making it ideal for smooth wash applications where controlled and evenly distributed illumination is required.
Flexible Zoom & Coverage
The PAR148 provides a versatile 9°–55° zoom range, allowing the PARAGON M to produce tighter or wider wash coverage according to the needs of the production. Its 4.5°–46.8° beam angle and 8.9°–54° field angle provide flexible optical control for professional stage, theatrical, concert, and live-event applications.
Intelligent Optical Integration
The PARAGON M automatically detects the installed lens type and optimizes its optical system for the selected configuration. The fixture also adapts its movement control according to the installed lens, helping maintain optimized performance when transitioning from profile projection to Fresnel wash operation.
Designed for Smooth Wash Applications
The Fresnel lens produces a softer optical character than the standard profile configuration, making it useful when a smooth, natural wash is preferred over a sharply defined projection. It is well suited for theatrical stages, concerts, touring productions, corporate events, entertainment venues, and professional lighting installations.
Expanded PARAGON M Versatility
The PAR148 expands the functionality of the PARAGON M by allowing the fixture to perform as a soft wash unit when required. It provides lighting professionals with another optical configuration for adapting the fixture to different beam-shaping and coverage requirements without sacrificing the intelligent lens-management capabilities of the PARAGON M.
