The Electro-Voice EKX-10P is a compact yet powerful 10-inch powered loudspeaker designed for live performances, portable PA systems, DJs, rental companies, houses of worship, and fixed installations. Equipped with a high-efficiency 2000W Class-D amplifier and advanced FIR-Drive DSP, it delivers exceptional clarity, balanced frequency response, and impressive output in a lightweight enclosure. The speaker reaches a maximum SPL of 134 dB while maintaining accurate and natural sound reproduction across the entire frequency spectrum.
At the core of the EKX-10P is a custom 10-inch SMX2100 low-frequency woofer paired with a 1.25-inch DH3-B titanium compression driver. Together they provide a frequency response of 85 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB) and an extended operating range of 65 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB). The integrated FIR-Drive DSP precisely aligns the drivers, optimizes crossover performance, and delivers consistent sound with excellent vocal intelligibility and musical detail.
Built for professional use, the EKX-10P features a rugged 18 mm plywood cabinet finished with durable EVCoat protection and a powder-coated 16 AWG steel grille for long-lasting reliability. Two XLR/TRS combo inputs and an XLR link output provide flexible connectivity for microphones, mixers, and instruments, while eight M10 suspension points allow secure permanent installation or suspended mounting in commercial venues and performance spaces.
