The Gator GTOUR-2U-2UDR is an ATA-style 2U rack flight case designed for transporting and protecting compact professional equipment. Its rugged 9 mm plywood construction provides dependable durability for touring, live production, and demanding stage environments. The laminated exterior adds another layer of protection against everyday transport wear. Its rackmount design provides a practical solution for organizing wireless systems, MIDI devices, effects units, and related equipment.
The interior is fully lined with protective EVA foam to help cushion installed equipment during transportation. A removable adjustable divider allows users to create a more secure storage configuration for smaller wireless systems, MIDI devices, and effects units. The 2U storage drawer adds convenient space for accessories and production essentials while keeping them organized and accessible. This combination of rack storage and drawer space helps maximize the case's usable capacity.
Both lids feature EVA foam lining and hook-and-loop securing straps designed to accommodate up to eight handheld wireless microphones. An aluminum valance helps align the lids with the case base for a secure closure. Gator's recessed red twist latches provide dependable closure, while spring-loaded rubber grip handles make lifting and handling more comfortable.
