Descripción
The Hercules DJControl T10 Gig Pack (DJ Control T10 with backpack, part number AMS-DJC-INPULSE-T10-PACK) is the DJControl T10 motorized DJ controller bundled with the custom UDG-Hercules backpack made to carry it. It is built for scratch, battle, hip-hop and open-format DJs who want turntable feel from a controller: two motorized die-cast aluminum platters spin real 10-inch vinyl discs at 33 1/3 or 45 RPM, the InduXfader crossfader is contactless and Innofader-approved, and Serato DJ Pro and DJUCED PRO are both included. The controller weighs 16.1 lb (7.3 kg), and the padded backpack carries it along with a laptop up to 17 inches.
Gig Pack or the DJControl T10 on its own?
The controller and everything in its box are the same. The Gig Pack adds the UDG-Hercules backpack, which is also sold separately as the Hercules DJC-INPULSE-T10-BAG. Bought together, the pack costs less than the Hercules DJControl T10 and the backpack bought one at a time. Pick the controller alone if it will stay on a table at home or travel in a hard flight case.
How is the T10 different from the Hercules DJControl Inpulse T7?
If you know the DJControl Inpulse T7, these are the real differences:
| Spec | DJControl T10 | DJControl Inpulse T7 |
| Vinyl on the platters | 10-inch discs on motorized platters | 7-inch discs on motorized platters |
| Crossfader | InduXfader, contactless, with adjustable feel, curve and cut-lag | Standard crossfader |
| Serato license included | Serato DJ Pro, plus DJUCED PRO | Serato DJ Lite, plus DJUCED |
| Computer connections | 2 x USB-C, for one or two computers | 1 x USB-B |
| Width | 37.4 in | 25.7 in |
| Weight | 16.1 lb | 11 lb |
The T10 is the bigger, heavier, full-size option. The T7 remains the lighter choice if desk space or budget comes first.
How do the motorized platters work?
Each platter is a 290 mm die-cast aluminum disc driven by a three-phase brushless DC motor through a servo-controlled belt drive. A sensor tracks rotation in real time and a microcontroller corrects any drift. Start-up torque is 0.16 N·m (1.6 kgf·cm), and a platter reaches 33 1/3 RPM in under 0.4 seconds. Shift plus the pitch bend buttons switches between 33 1/3 and 45 RPM. Each platter carries a Dr. Suzuki slipsheet, a Hercules x Dr. Suzuki felt slipmat and a 10-inch vinyl disc, so it moves and releases like a turntable.
The motors cannot be switched off. Stopping a platter with your hand stops the track, and Hercules advises against holding a spinning platter still for long periods.
What is the InduXfader?
The InduXfader is Hercules' own contactless crossfader. A shuttle guided by two rails rides over a proximity sensor that reads its position by electromagnetic induction, so nothing touches the sensor, and the fader is Innofader-approved. Feel (light to heavy), curve, cut-lag and reverse all adjust from the front panel, and bumpers at both ends of the rail absorb impacts and stop side-to-side rattle. At minimum cut-lag it gives the very short cut used for scratching.
What do the Stems and Slip controls do?
Each deck has dedicated Vocal and Instrumental buttons that mute or isolate either part of a track live. Slip mode keeps the track running silently in the background while you scratch, loop or jump to a cue, then drops you back in time, and Slip Release sets when that happens (0, 1/2, 1, 2 or 4 beats). Hold Slip and press Vocal or Instrumental to turn on Stem Slip, a Serato-powered feature that lets you scratch the isolated vocal while the instrumental keeps playing untouched.
Which pad modes do you get in Serato DJ Pro and DJUCED PRO?
Each deck has 8 RGB pads and 8 pad modes: four main modes on the mode buttons and four more with Shift.
| Mode | Serato DJ Pro | DJUCED PRO |
| 1 | Hot Cue | Hot Cue |
| 2 | Auto Loop | Loop Roll |
| 3 | Stems | Stems |
| 4 | Sampler | Sampler |
| 5 (Shift + 1) | Pitch Play | TonePlay |
| 6 (Shift + 2) | Loop Roll | PadFX |
| 7 (Shift + 3) | Manual Loop | Slicer Loop |
| 8 (Shift + 4) | Scratch Banks | BeatJump |

Common questions
Is the backpack included?
Yes. The Gig Pack includes the UDG-Hercules backpack. The standard DJControl T10 does not.
Can I check the backpack as airline luggage?
No. Hercules says the backpack protects the T10 on foot, by car or by bus, but not as checked luggage or with other gear stacked on top of it. Use a hard flight case for that.
Does it work with Mac and Windows?
Yes. Install the Hercules driver pack first. Serato DJ Pro needs it on Windows because it runs the T10 in ASIO mode.
Can two DJs connect at the same time?
Yes. Two USB-C ports take two computers, and a USB 1/2 switch on each deck picks which computer that deck controls, so one DJ can hand over to the next mid-set.
Can I turn the platter motors off?
No. The platters always spin while a track plays, and stopping one stops the track.
Can I stream music with it?
Yes. Serato DJ Pro streams from Apple Music, Spotify, Beatport, SoundCloud and TIDAL, and DJUCED PRO supports streaming services too. Each service needs its own subscription.
Can I record my sets?
Yes. DJUCED PRO records your sets. Streamed tracks are excluded from recordings.
How much does it all weigh?
The controller is 16.1 lb (7.3 kg) and the backpack is 11.5 lb (5.2 kg).
