The JBL Control 424C/T 2-Pack delivers smooth, full-range ceiling audio through two professional two-way coaxial loudspeakers, each featuring a 100 mm (4-inch) woofer and 19 mm (0.75-inch) soft-dome tweeter. Integrated CRBI technology provides a consistent 130° conical coverage pattern that helps minimize on-axis hot spots and off-axis cold spots, creating a more uniform listening experience throughout commercial spaces. With a frequency range of 75 Hz–18 kHz, the system is designed to provide clear, balanced reproduction for background music, paging, and installed sound applications.
Flexible 70V/100V & 16Ω Installation
Each Control 424C/T supports both distributed 70V/100V systems and direct 16Ω operation, making the pair suitable for a wide range of professional commercial audio installations. The built-in multi-tap transformer provides 70V taps of 30W, 15W, 7.5W, and 3.7W, while 100V operation supports 30W, 15W, and 7.5W. Each speaker delivers 60W continuous pink-noise power for 2 hours with 240W peak capability, while the integrated enclosure and wide-range mounting system simplify installation across different ceiling constructions.
Modern Design & Efficient Installation
The Control 424C/T combines professional acoustic performance with a refined architectural appearance. Full-face magnetic grilles provide a clean, paintable finish and include safety tethers for secure installation, while redesigned terminal covers offer convenient top and side cable entry with captive hand-screws for tool-free access. The robust captive dogear mounting system accommodates a wide range of ceiling thicknesses, and the IP33-rated construction makes the speakers well suited for demanding commercial environments. The 2-pack includes two loudspeakers with their corresponding grilles, C-rings, and tile rails for installation.
