The JBL Control 426C/T-LS 2-Pack combines professional two-way coaxial audio performance with a design certified to the UL1480 Standard for life-safety applications. Each loudspeaker features a 165 mm (6.5-inch) woofer and 25 mm (1-inch) soft-dome tweeter, delivering a frequency range of 72 Hz–19 kHz. CRBI technology provides consistent 110° conical coverage while helping reduce on-axis hot spots and off-axis cold spots for smooth, intelligible sound throughout commercial and life-safety installations.
Flexible 70V/100V & 12Ω Operation
Each Control 426C/T-LS supports 70V/100V distributed audio systems as well as direct 12Ω low-impedance operation. The built-in transformer provides 70V taps of 60W, 30W, 15W, and 7.5W, while 100V operation supports 60W, 30W, and 15W. Each speaker handles 110W continuous pink-noise power for 2 hours and up to 440W peak, while the 12Ω direct input provides additional system flexibility for professional installed sound applications.
Reliable Installation & Life-Safety Integration
The integrated enclosure is designed for installation in most ceiling plenum spaces, with redesigned terminal covers offering convenient top and side cable entry and captive hand-screws for tool-free access. The adaptable captive dogear mounting system works with a wide range of ceiling thicknesses, while the full-face magnetic grille provides a clean architectural appearance. UL1480 certification, IP33 construction, safety-focused mounting features, and included grilles, C-rings, and tile rails make the 2-pack suitable for professional commercial and life-safety installations.
