The JBL Control 447HC 2-Pack delivers powerful, high-quality distributed audio through two 6.5-inch two-way coaxial ceiling loudspeakers from the Control 400 Premium Coverage Series. Each speaker combines a 165 mm (6.5-inch) treated paper cone woofer with a 25 mm (1-inch) soft-dome tweeter featuring a neodymium magnet. JBL’s proprietary Radiation Boundary Integrator (RBI) technology provides focused 85° conical coverage, making the pair well suited for auditoriums, conference halls, worship spaces, and other acoustically challenging commercial environments.
Flexible 70V/100V & 8Ω Operation
Each Control 447HC supports both 70V/100V distributed audio and direct 8Ω low-impedance operation. The built-in multi-tap transformer provides 70V taps at 60W, 30W, 15W, and 7.5W, while 100V operation supports 60W, 30W, and 15W. With 112W continuous power handling and up to 448W peak capability per speaker, the pair provides flexible system integration for speech reinforcement, paging, background music, and professional installed audio applications.
Efficient Installation & Architectural Design
The integrated enclosure simplifies installation while providing consistent acoustic performance, and the captive dogear mounting system accommodates a range of ceiling installations. Full-face magnetic grilles provide a clean architectural appearance and can be painted to complement the surrounding décor. IP33-rated construction, flexible cable entry options, and professional safety certifications make the Control 447HC 2-Pack suitable for demanding commercial installations.
