Descripción

The JBL MTC-442NC is an optional new-construction bracket designed for JBL Control 442C/T ceiling loudspeakers. It provides a convenient mounting and preparation solution for installations where brackets are installed before sheetrock or gypsum board is fitted.

The flat sheet metal bracket features wings for attachment to the building structure and provides a secure location for routing and securing speaker wiring behind the ceiling. Pre-drilled mounting holes accommodate common 16 and 24 on-center construction spacing, while additional holes can be drilled for other spacing requirements up to 24.75 apart.

Once installed, the bracket can serve as a guide for creating speaker cutouts in sheetrock, making it useful for production-line installations with multiple ceiling speakers. Each package includes six new construction brackets for Control 442C/T loudspeakers.
