Descripción

The JBL MTC-447MR is an optional pre-installation mud ring bracket designed for JBL Control 447C/T and 447LP ceiling loudspeakers. It is intended for installations where the bracket is positioned before sheetrock or gypsum board is installed, helping installers reserve the speaker location in advance.

The circular offset forms an edge guide for sheetrock cutting and plastering, allowing the finished ceiling opening to be prepared around the bracket for a clean, seamless speaker cutout. The bracket also provides a convenient location for securing wiring behind the sheetrock.

With pre-drilled mounting holes for common 16 and 24 on-center construction spacing, the MTC-447MR is well suited for commercial audio installations, architectural projects, and production-style ceiling speaker installations. Each package includes six mud ring brackets.
