The LCT140MP Stereo Pair is a matched set of small-diaphragm condenser microphones designed to capture instruments and room sounds with natural realism and mix-ready presence. Each microphone features switchable Air and Flat sound characteristics, allowing you to choose between an open, sparkling character or a linear response for accurate source reproduction. The cardioid pattern provides focused pickup while helping reduce unwanted sound from behind the microphone.
Featuring 17 mm permanently polarized condenser capsules with excellent transient response, the LCT 140 AIR captures the attack and detail of acoustic instruments, drums, strings, guitars, and choirs with clarity. An 80 Hz low-cut filter helps control unwanted low-frequency buildup, while the switchable -12 dB attenuation pad provides additional headroom when recording loud sources. The precise stereo matching process ensures consistent sensitivity and frequency response between both microphones.
Built with a durable CNC-machined aluminum housing, each LCT 140 AIR microphone is lightweight and easy to position during recording sessions. The microphones require standard 48 V phantom power and feature gold-plated 3-pin XLR connectors for reliable professional connectivity. The Stereo Pair includes two snap-in microphone clips, two windscreens, and a cushioned transport bag with two pockets for convenient storage and transport.
