Descripción
The Lewitt LCT440PURE is a side-address true condenser microphone designed for professional studio recording. Its 1-inch large-diaphragm capsule captures vocals and instruments with impressive detail and clarity. The cardioid pickup pattern emphasizes sound from the front while helping reduce unwanted ambient sound from behind. Its carefully designed response adds clarity and presence without producing an overly harsh character. The microphone is suitable for vocals, acoustic guitar, piano, drums, and other demanding sources.
Large-Diaphragm Condenser Capsule
The LCT 440 PURE uses a 25.4 mm externally polarized condenser capsule with a 3-micron gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm. Its wide 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range captures a broad spectrum of musical and vocal detail. With a sensitivity of 27.4 mV/Pa, the microphone provides a strong output signal for compatible recording equipment. The exceptionally low 7 dB(A) self-noise helps preserve details while keeping recordings clean. A 133 dB(A) dynamic range provides substantial headroom for powerful sources.
Clean and Versatile Recording
The cardioid polar pattern makes the LCT 440 PURE particularly effective for focused recording in studios and controlled environments. It captures the intended source from the front while reducing sensitivity to sound arriving from the rear. The microphone's solid-state circuitry provides reliable and consistent performance without requiring additional onboard controls. Its detailed character works well for lead vocals, backing vocals, acoustic instruments, percussion, drums, and amplified instruments. The 87 dB(A) signal-to-noise ratio contributes to clean and professional recordings. Its high SPL capability also allows it to be positioned in front of loud guitar cabinets and other powerful sound sources.
Professional Construction
The LCT 440 PURE features a robust zinc die-cast enclosure designed for dependable studio and production use. Its gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector provides a reliable balanced connection to mixers, audio interfaces, and microphone preamps. The microphone requires standard 48 V phantom power and draws approximately 2.63 mA during operation. The supplied shockmount helps isolate the microphone from unwanted mechanical vibrations during recording. A foam windscreen and pop filter are also included to provide additional protection and help control unwanted vocal noise.
