The RCF HL 2240 is a horn-loaded, two-way bi-amped array system designed for high-output mid-distance and long-throw applications. Featuring dual 12-inch high-power woofers and a 4-inch voice coil neodymium compression driver, it delivers powerful low-frequency performance, clear vocal reproduction, and accurate sound across a wide operating range.
Its 40° × 22.5° constant directivity makes the HL 2240 suitable for point-source applications and clustered configurations. The trapezoidal enclosure provides a 22.5° coupling angle on each side, allowing multiple cabinets to be combined for long-throw coverage. Variable array mechanics provide secure and flexible system deployment.
Built for demanding professional applications, the cabinet uses Baltic birch marine plywood with internal structural metal bracing and a durable polyurea black finish. A perforated steel grille with water-repellent backing and IP67-rated Amphenol connectors complement the IP55 weather-protected enclosure for reliable operation in challenging environments.
