The SL-1200M7GL features a coreless direct drive motor engineered for smooth, stable rotation with high torque and precise speed control. By eliminating cogging, the motor provides accurate and consistent platter rotation for faithful sound reproduction. Digital pitch control offers ±8% and ±16% adjustment for precise DJ performance.
Precision Tonearm and Resonance Control
The high-sensitivity static-balance S-shaped tonearm incorporates high-precision bearings for accurate groove tracking and reduced stylus jumping during scratching. Its aluminum die-cast platter uses rib reinforcement, deadening rubber, and a two-layer construction to suppress unwanted resonance, while spring-and-rubber insulators help reduce vibration and acoustic feedback.
