The Ultimate Support JS-KD55 Kick Drum and Guitar Amp Microphone Stand from the JamStands Series is designed for microphone placement in compact or crowded environments. Its low-profile construction makes it ideal for miking kick drums and guitar amplifiers in recording studios and live-performance setups, while its V-shaped base helps it fit around corners, cables, and nearby equipment without taking up unnecessary space.
Adjustable Positioning and Fixed Boom Reach
The JS-KD55 adjusts from 15.5 inches to 21 inches (393–533 mm) in height and features a 16.5-inch (419 mm) fixed boom arm for added positioning flexibility. The angle-adjustable base allows users to orient the stand to suit their setup, helping position a microphone accurately when working around drum kits, amplifier cabinets, and other stage equipment.
Heavy-Duty Construction and Versatile Applications
Built with a heavy-duty die-cast weighted base, the JS-KD55 provides dependable support for compatible microphone setups. Its compact footprint and adjustable positioning also make it useful as a desktop microphone stand for recording, voice-over work, and other close-miking applications. The standard 5/8"-27 male mounting thread supports compatible microphone clips and mounts, which are not included.
