The Universal Audio UA-VOLT-1-G2-U Volt 1 Gen 2 USB Audio Interface combines high-resolution 32-bit audio conversion with a tone-shaping microphone preamp designed to give vocals and other sources a richer, more polished character. With up to 60 dB of available gain, the interface provides a flexible front end for microphones and instruments while maintaining detailed, low-noise audio performance.
Compact I/O for Recording & Production
Volt 1 Gen 2 provides 2-in/2-out operation with a microphone input, instrument input, line connectivity, stereo monitor outputs, and a dedicated stereo headphone output. USB bus power allows the interface to operate without an external power supply, making it practical for mobile recording, home studios, content creation, and portable production setups.
UAD Software & Loopback for Content Creation
Every Volt includes more than 15 UAD plug-ins and instruments along with the LUNA DAW, providing access to recording, mixing, guitar, synthesis, EQ, and compression tools. Loopback functionality also allows computer audio to be combined with live sources in real time, making Volt 1 Gen 2 well suited for podcasts, livestreams, video calls, and other broadcast-style applications.
