The Universal Audio UA-VOLT-4P-MAX-UVolt 4P Max is a professional 12-in/6-out USB audio interface built for recording complete band setups with vocals, instruments, and drums. Four microphone preamps provide up to 60 dB of digitally controlled gain and feature Tone Shaping, Harmonic Saturation, and Max Compression for adding character and controlled dynamics during recording. Classic compressor presets tuned for vocals, guitar, and bass provide convenient processing options for a variety of sources.
Expanded I/O for Full-Band Recording
With four microphone inputs, two instrument inputs, four line inputs, two stereo monitor outputs, and two stereo headphone outputs, the Volt 4P Max provides flexible connectivity for multi-source recording. ADAT or S/PDIF optical input enables additional digital expansion, with ADAT supporting up to eight channels at 44.1/48 kHz and S/MUX configurations at higher sample rates. MIDI In/Out allows connection of external keyboards and hardware, while the USB hub provides an additional connection for compatible peripherals.
Smart Workflow & Professional Recording Features
Full 32-bit audio conversion with support for sample rates up to 192 kHz provides detailed and high-resolution recording. The Smart Display offers bright visual feedback for quick channel selection and level adjustment, while Auto-Gain and Clip Protection help simplify recording and prevent unwanted signal peaks. Two stereo monitor outputs support main and alternate speaker switching, while the built-in talkback microphone and dual headphone outputs support practical studio communication and monitoring.
