The JBL 310S MkIII is a powered studio subwoofer designed to extend the low-frequency performance of JBL 3 Series MkIII monitoring systems. Its redesigned 10-inch low-frequency driver, advanced magnetic system, patented Slipstream port, and downward-firing cabinet architecture deliver deep, controlled bass extension down to 26 Hz. Designed for music production, content creation, post-production, and immersive audio workflows, the 310S MkIII provides accurate reproduction of kick drums, bass instruments, cinematic effects, and low-frequency content.
The subwoofer features a powerful 300W Class-D amplifier configured in PBTL for substantial low-frequency headroom and dynamic performance. Maximum RMS SPL reaches 104 dB, while maximum peak SPL reaches 116 dB. Selectable crossover settings at 80 Hz, 100 Hz, and 120 Hz allow flexible integration with monitoring systems, while the external crossover setting can be used with external bass management systems. The balanced Neutrik Combo input provides professional connectivity for audio interfaces, monitor controllers, and stereo, surround, or immersive monitoring systems.
The 310S MkIII features a ported 18 mm MDF enclosure with a matte black PVC finish, injection-molded structural ABS baffle, and 2 mm SPCC rear panel. Its downward-firing 10-inch woofer provides consistent low-frequency dispersion while the Slipstream port helps reduce turbulence and port noise. The subwoofer operates from 100–240 VAC and weighs 37.3 lbs, with cabinet dimensions of 18.0" x 13.9" x 16.4".
