Why put a cover on DJ gear?
Dust, spilled drinks and accidental knocks are the everyday hazards for mixers, players and controllers, and gear left set up in a booth or studio is exposed to all three. A fitted hard cover keeps dust out of faders and jog wheels, sheds spills, and protects knobs from a stray hit. At a gig, it also lets you set up early and leave the rig covered until your set.
What is a Decksaver cover made of?
Polycarbonate, a tough, impact-resistant plastic. Each Decksaver is molded to fit one specific model and trimmed so you can leave your cables plugged in. Some models come in smoked clear, and Soft-Fit versions add inserts for a snug, secure fit.
How do I find the cover that fits my gear?
Search for your exact model and generation. Covers are made per model, so a cover for one version will not always fit the next: Decksaver makes separate covers for the Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 and the AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X, and for the DJM-S7, DJM-S9 and DJM-S11. If your model is not listed, call us before buying a cover made for a similar unit.

How do I see my screens at an outdoor gig?

Do I still need a case if I have a cover?
