The Shure BETA 181/C Cardioid Compact Side-Address Instrument Microphone from Shure is a durable, small diaphragm, electret condenser microphone with an interchangeable capsule design. The Beta 181/C ships with a cardioid capsule for drum overhead, piano, and acoustic instrument applications, as well as an M/S stereo technique (paired with BETA 181/BI). The microphone features a wide frequency response and rugged build, making it great for the stage and recording studio.
Designed for versatility and reliability, the Shure BETA 181/C features a precision-engineered compact housing that allows easy placement in tight or visually sensitive setups. Its innovative locking ring ensures a secure connection between the capsule and preamplifier, maintaining consistent performance during demanding sessions.
