Line Array Rentals for Corporate Events, Concerts, and Large Venues
When the room is big and the sound has to reach the back wall clean, you rent a line array. We supply, deliver, and rig flown and ground-stacked array systems for corporate events, conferences, galas, product launches, concerts, festivals, and houses of worship across Los Angeles. This is the part of the catalog most rental shops in town can't touch.
We carry real array inventory from JBL, RCF, DAS Audio, QSC, dB Technologies, and LD Systems, plus the amplification, processing, rigging, and cabling to run it as a system instead of a pile of boxes. For an event planner or production company, that means one call instead of five.

Rental pickup window: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We open pickup 30 minutes before the showroom and close 30 minutes before, so plan accordingly for Saturday events.

What we rent
DJ equipment
Pioneer DJ controllers, CDJ-3000 and CDJ-2000NXS2 club setups, DJM-series mixers, and turntables. Denon DJ standalone units, Rane battle mixers, Numark controllers, Allen & Heath Xone mixers.
Plus DJ booths, podiums, and facades, headphones, laptop stands, and the cabling that always seems to be the thing nobody brings.
Pro audio and PA
Powered loudspeakers and subs from QSC (the K Series workhorses), JBL, DAS Audio, and LD Systems. Shure wired and wireless mics, complete wireless systems, mixers, signal processors, DI boxes, and the cables nobody packs enough of.

Lighting and stage
Chauvet DJ moving heads, washes, and effect lighting. ADJ wash lights, LED bars, and strobes. LED par cans, pixel effects, laser systems, hazers, fog machines, and cold spark machines.
Truss, lighting stands, stage systems, LED dance floors, spotlights, and follow spots. The downtown showroom has the largest permanent Chauvet DJ lighting display in the country, which means you can come in and see exactly how a fixture performs in a dark room before you commit.
Cases and transport
Odyssey flight cases and gear protection. ProX cases and live performance gear. Controller bags and soft cases for the things you'd rather not bang up on the way to a Saturday wedding.

How rentals work
- Tell us about your event. Date, venue, head count, what you're trying to do. Submit the rental inquiry form or call 800-700-4542. Last-minute events are possible. Last-minute events with a week's notice are a lot easier.
- We build the package. We size the PA and lighting to the room and the crowd, suggest alternatives if your first pick isn't free that weekend, and confirm pricing in writing.
- Demo and reserve. Come by the showroom to see the lighting in action. Put down a deposit to lock in your dates.
- Pickup or delivery. Pick up at the warehouse during the 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM window. Or have it delivered. Setup support is available for larger events.
- Return. Bring everything back at the agreed time. If you decide to buy what you rented instead, mention it and we'll apply the credit.

Orange County and the Inland Empire too, with a little advance notice. Pickup is at 934 E 11th St; delivery is on request and quoted per event.
Frequently asked questions
Can I apply my rental fee to a purchase?
Yes. If you decide to buy the equipment after renting it, your rental fee credits toward the purchase price of that same item. Mention it when you reserve or at return time and we'll handle the math. Available on most rental-eligible equipment we sell, including line array systems.
What do I need to rent equipment from Hollywood DJ?
A valid government-issued photo ID, a credit or debit card in your name (or written authorization if you're using a company card), and a signed rental agreement. Higher-value packages may need a refundable deposit.
How far in advance should I reserve?
For weekends in wedding and prom season (April through October), two to four weeks out. For weekday events or smaller packages, a few days is usually fine. We'll do what we can for last-minute requests, but earlier is always better for gear selection.
Can I rent for just one day?
Yes. Single-day, weekend, weekly, and monthly rates are all available. Same-day pickup and same-day return is how most weddings and parties work.
Do you deliver and set up?
Delivery is available on request and priced by distance and equipment volume. On-site setup and tech support is available for larger productions. Call for a quote.
I've never operated this gear before. Can you show me how it works?
Yes. Lighting renters can demo any Chauvet DJ fixture in the showroom before the event. For DJ and PA gear, our team walks you through the basics at pickup, and we're reachable by phone during business hours if anything comes up.
What if something breaks during the event?
Call us. Normal wear is on us. If a piece of gear fails through no fault of yours, we'll work to swap it out or credit the rental. User-caused damage is spelled out in the rental agreement, no surprises.
Do you offer DJ services, or just the equipment?
We rent equipment and sell gear. If you need a DJ for the event itself, we can usually refer you to working professionals in our network who already use our gear.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes. Cancellation terms depend on how close to the rental date you cancel and whether the gear was reserved exclusively for your event. Call as soon as you know so we can free things up for other customers.
Do you have insurance options?
We offer a damage waiver on most packages. For high-value rentals (large line arrays, complex lighting rigs), proof of separate event insurance may be required. This gets spelled out in the rental agreement.
