The ADJ AX2 is a compact yet powerful, fully integrated lighting controller powered by Obsidian Control Systems’ ONYX platform. Designed for demanding modern productions, it combines speed, reliability, and intuitive control in a streamlined footprint. The AX2 also includes the DYLOS Media Engine with five zones of pixel control, making it a versatile solution for both lighting and pixel-based shows.

Control Surface and Ergonomics

At the center of the AX2 is a bright, adjustable 15.6” Full HD multi-touch screen, supported by an assistive internal 3.5” touchscreen. The console features a full ONYX command and keypad section, a dedicated grand master, 8 assignable parameter encoders, and 10 full playbacks with four freely assignable buttons, delivering fast, hands-on operation in a highly ergonomic layout.

Built with industrial-grade components, the AX2 is powered by an Intel Hexa-Core processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a high-speed NVMe SSD. This hardware enables fast boot times, instant responsiveness, and integrated processing of up to 32 universes directly within the console-eliminating the need for external processing hardware.

The AX2 is equipped with extensive connectivity to meet large-scale production demands, including four DMX ports, SMPTE timecode, MIDI, and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports supporting up to 32 universes of Art-Net, sACN, and ONYX X-Net.
