The Allen & Heath IP4W Four Button Wallplate Controller - Black is designed to give non-technical users convenient and intuitive control of installed audio systems. Featuring four illuminated and configurable buttons, the IP4 allows direct access to functions such as zone level, source selection, mutes, level adjustments, scene or preset recall, and more. Compact and versatile, the IP4 is the ideal solution for conference rooms, houses of worship, education facilities, hospitality spaces, and other environments where easy access to system control is required.
Simple to Use
The IP4 has been designed with simplicity in mind, offering easy, one-touch operation for essential functions. Its four backlit buttons ensure clear visibility and intuitive operation, even in low-light environments. End users without technical expertise can manage key functions such as adjusting volume, muting audio, switching sources, or recalling system presets.
Low Maintenance
For ease of installation and upkeep, the IP4 automatically matches its firmware with connected devices. This smart functionality reduces the need for manual updates and ensures long-term reliability with minimal maintenance.
Flexible System Design
Multiple IP controllers can be used together in a system, providing control exactly where needed. Different models of Allen & Heath IP controllers can be mixed and matched, allowing installers to tailor the setup to suit the needs of various users and spaces. One controller can even be configured to change the functions of another, providing dynamic control in complex environments.
Connectivity & Configuration
The IP4 connects seamlessly to AHM, Avantis, or dLive mixing systems using standard TCP/IP network connections. It can also be networked with additional controllers, computers, or third-party devices over a standard Ethernet infrastructure. Power is provided via PoE (Power over Ethernet), making installation simple and cable management efficient.
Configuration of the IP4 is handled through Allen & Heath’s software tools: AHM System Manager, Avantis Director, or dLive Director (available for PC and Mac). Alternatively, it can also be configured directly via an Avantis mixer or dLive Surface, ensuring maximum flexibility for integrators.
