SLAB features a 130-mm long-stroke LED touch strip that offers precise, expressive control over parameters such as filter, pitch, FX level, and swing. The touch strip is tactile and smooth, paired with RGB indicators for high visibility, enabling fast and accurate adjustments during production or performance. Its four touch-sensitive encoders allow hands-on manipulation of individual track elements via the Stems Level feature, letting you finely control vocals, melody, drums, and bass directly from the hardware - without needing separate tracks. The controller is fully optimized for Serato Studio but also supports Serato Sample, Serato DJ Pro, and various DAWs through its versatile MIDI mode. The Drum Sequencer offers an intuitive step-based workflow where you can adjust velocity, timing, swing, and grid settings in real time. Project Key & BPM Sync automatically keeps everything aligned, even when making changes mid-flow, while Key Shift & Time Stretch, powered by Pitch ’n Time, maintains pristine audio quality as you adjust speed and pitch.

Performance & Expression

Keyboard Mode allows you to play any sample like an instrument with control over attack, release, glide, and sustain, plus features like Auto Chords and Play in Key to keep everything harmonically tight. Automation gives you precise control over volume, EQ, Stems, and effects for dynamic, evolving arrangements. Finally, Effects offers 42 high-quality processors—from compressors and EQs to reverbs, delays, and flangers—giving you all the tools you need to shape your sound with depth and character.

Clear panel zoning improves visibility, while CDJ-inspired circular buttons for play and record feel familiar.
