AlphaTheta XDJ-AN 2 Channel Serato & Rekordbox All-in-One DJ Controller

The AlphaTheta XDJ-AN (XDJAN) is a 2-channel all-in-one DJ system that plays music from USB drives, streaming services and your cloud rekordbox library without a laptop. It combines a 7-inch touchscreen, two 132 mm (5.2-inch) jog wheels and a club-style 2-channel mixer, and streams directly from Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL and Beatport Streaming over built-in Wi-Fi. AlphaTheta built it for DJs moving up from a controller who want a standalone setup at home with a club-style layout.

It is also the first AlphaTheta all-in-one to DJ from a phone or tablet over a USB cable (rekordbox for iOS and djay for iOS) and to record and livestream with the DJM-REC app. A SonicLink transmitter is built in for wireless headphone monitoring with latency as low as 9 ms, and the master outputs are balanced XLR and RCA. It weighs 11.5 lb (5.2 kg).

Can I use the XDJ-AN without a laptop?

Yes. It plays music from a USB drive, from supported streaming services and from rekordbox CloudDirectPlay on its own. A laptop is optional, for when you want to DJ with rekordbox, Serato DJ or djay Pro on a computer.

Does the XDJ-AN play Spotify?

Yes. Firmware 1.20, released by AlphaTheta on August 18, 2026, added StreamingDirectPlay for Spotify, so the XDJ-AN now streams Spotify, Apple Music, TIDAL and Beatport Streaming directly. You need a subscription to each service you use, and availability varies by country. Update the firmware if your unit is on an earlier version.

How do streaming and the cloud library work?

Connect the XDJ-AN to Wi-Fi and log in by scanning the QR code on the screen. You can then browse a streaming service and load tracks straight to a deck. Touch the artist or album name of the playing track to find related tracks for your next mix. With a rekordbox subscription plan, rekordbox CloudDirectPlay opens the library you keep in Dropbox or Google Drive.

Can I build playlists on the unit?

Yes. On the touchscreen you can create, reorder, edit and delete cloud playlists and select multiple tracks at once. Cloud Library Sync carries the playlists and Hot Cues you edit on the XDJ-AN to your other devices automatically.

Will my rekordbox USB drives work?

Yes, if they are exported in the OneLibrary format. The XDJ-AN does not read the older Device Library format, so convert an older library once using the latest rekordbox for Mac/Windows. Drives formatted FAT16, FAT32, exFAT or HFS+ work, with no limit on capacity.

Can I DJ from my phone or tablet?

Yes. Connect an iOS device by USB cable and DJ with rekordbox for iOS (no license needed) or djay for iOS (subscription), using music stored on the device, so no Wi-Fi connection is needed. The DJM-REC app records your set and livestreams it.

Can I use wireless headphones?

Yes. The built-in SonicLink transmitter pairs with compatible headphones such as the AlphaTheta HDJ-F10, with latency as low as 9 ms and a range of about 16.4 ft (5 m), so no adapter or cable is needed. Wired headphones plug into the 3.5 mm mini jack on the front.

What can I connect to it?

The balanced XLR master output connects to a PA system, and the RCA master output suits studio monitors and other speakers. There is one 1/4-inch TRS mic input. There is no separate booth output and no LAN port.

How is the XDJ-AN different from the XDJ-AZ, OMNIS-DUO and XDJ-RX3?

The AlphaTheta XDJ-AZ is the 4-channel, 4-deck flagship, with a 10.1-inch screen, 206 mm jog wheels, 14 Beat FX, two USB-A slots, a LAN port and two mic inputs, at 29.8 lb. The XDJ-AN is the 2-channel home system: smaller and lighter, and the one of the two that edits playlists on the unit, streams Spotify, connects to phones and works with DJM-REC. The AlphaTheta OMNIS-DUO is the portable choice, with a built-in battery (about 5 hours), an SD card slot and two mic inputs, at 10.1 lb.
