The Avante Audio ATS218 active subwoofer is a high-output dual 18-inch system designed in the USA for medium to the largest-scale events, delivering powerful and precise low-frequency performance. Milan certified and engineered to pair seamlessly with the Avante Audio AKRO ATL328 line array, it is ideal for creating impactful sound systems for live events, touring, and permanent installations.
Built with dual high-output 18-inch woofers and a large-tuned port design, the ATS218 is powered by a high-efficiency Class-D + switching amplifier delivering up to 4800 watts of peak power with a PFC power supply. This ensures exceptional headroom with minimal distortion, along with a deep and controlled frequency response ranging from 32 Hz to 120 Hz (-6 dB). It also supports flexible subwoofer array configurations for different venue requirements.
Equipped with an advanced German-made DSP, the ATS218 offers full system networking, remote monitoring, and control including EQ, delay, and LF/HF compensation presets via Akro-Command software (Windows/Mac) or onboard rotary controls. Its rugged CNC-machined Baltic birch enclosure, EZ-Link interlocking system, protective amplifier cover, and durable polyurea finish make it highly reliable for demanding touring environments, delivering up to 142 dB SPL with professional-grade performance and durability.
