It converts a 40 Gbit/s optical link into eight independent 5G BaseT Ethernet connections, allowing compatible sending controllers and LED display systems to communicate over fiber while maintaining full-duplex transmission and strong resistance to electrical interference. With support for transmission distances up to 10 km, it is well suited for installations where conventional copper cable distances are insufficient.
