CAD 2600VP Variable Polar Pattern Hanging Mic & DSP Compatible

The CAD 2600VP Variable Polar Pattern Hanging Microphone, DSP Compatible, Black is a continuously variable pattern condenser microphone system with remote polar control through a Digital Signal Processor. Ideal when a suspended system is required, it includes a counter poise string, exclusive articulating steel hanger, anti-twist thread and rods, 30’ of cable, and a 24” XLR-F to Phoenix-type connector.

The 2600VP, along with the 2700VP, 2800VP, and 2220VP models, allows users to adjust the pick-up pattern shape in real time from within a DSP without changing capsules, microphone positions, or introducing unwanted noise into the audio chain. Using a two-conductor shielded cable up to 2,000 feet in length between the microphone head and DSP unit, the polar pattern can be controlled remotely with precision.

Designed for superior audio performance, this microphone system offers excellent frequency response and sensitivity, while the variable pattern control ensures optimal pick-up in any environment. Built with CAD Audio’s RF Resistant Architecture, the VP series resists interference from cell phones, communication devices, and lighting systems, meeting the stringent RF standards set by the European Union.
