Description
The CAD Audio Astatic 878HL-2 is a dual impedance omnidirectional dynamic desk microphone designed with modern styling and rugged Cycolac housing for industrial and commercial public address and paging applications. It features a slide switch for selecting low or high impedance and delivers a wide-band frequency response that is smooth and peak-free, with a slight rise above 2 kHz for natural, highly intelligible sound. Microphone and relay switching are handled by long-life DPDT professional leaf switches, with the choice of either a push-to-talk bar with locking capability or lift-to-talk operation. The microphone is supplied with a six-strand cable featuring stripped and tinned ends for easy connection.
