The CAD Audio 930VPL Condenser Boundary Microphone with Variable Polar Pattern, Prog Switch, Active LED and Logic is designed to meet the demands of diverse installation environments. Its continuously variable polar pattern allows the user to select any pickup response from omni-directional to cardioid, hypercardioid, figure-of-eight, and variations in between, ensuring optimal performance for any application. This flexibility makes it possible for system designers and installers to reduce the number of different mic models required across a project.
Equipped with RF-resistant circuitry, the 930VPL maintains clear, interference-free audio in challenging environments. The programmable membrane switch with LED provides intuitive control, while the contact closure in/out interface facilitates integration into control systems. A bottom-exit cable option allows for unobtrusive cable management on conference tables or stages.
Selectable startup modes—active or muted—give installers further control over system behavior, making the 930VPL a practical choice for both fixed and live setups.
