Description
The CAD Audio GSM-1 Lectern/Podium Shock Isolation Mount is designed for mini-gooseneck microphones with a 3-pin male XLR connector. Featuring a dual point suspension system and custom formulated Impact Noise Rejection (INR) elastomer bushings, the GSM-1 delivers superior shock absorption while firmly holding the microphone in place even on angled surfaces. Its compact, high-mass design prevents microphone “sag” or “droop” when using longer goosenecks, such as the 220, 920, or 827-17 series.
The GSM-1 includes a built-in quick-disconnect XLR connector with a 6-foot balanced cable (stripped and tinned ends), allowing easy microphone insertion or removal without accessing the underside of the mount. Engineered for durability and performance, the GSM-1 provides over 20 dB reduction of transmitted impact and surface noise, making it ideal for professional podium and lectern installations.
